My in-person office is located in Kirkland, Washington. I am certified to provide counseling services to anyone residing in Washington State. So whether you live in Spokane, Monroe, Seattle, or anywhere in between, we are able to meet virtually via Telehealth from the comfort of your own home.

Individual Counseling
Individual mental health counseling is a personalized, supportive process where you will work with me to explore emotional difficulties, gain insight, accomplish your goals, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. In my approach, I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Lifespan Integration Therapy (LI), and Family Systems Therapy (FST) to provide a well-rounded and holistic framework for healing. ACT helps clients accept difficult emotions and thoughts while focusing on actions aligned with their values, promoting emotional resilience. LI facilitates the healing of past trauma by gently integrating painful memories, helping client's nervous system realize they are safe in the present. Family Systems Therapy offers insight into how family dynamics and relational patterns influence current behaviors and emotional regulation. Throughout the process, I prioritize kindness, compassion, and gentleness, fostering a safe space where clients can explore their experiences without judgment. We will work together to help you gently return to your window of tolerance—an emotional state where you feel balanced, capable, and empowered to engage with life more fully.

Couples Counseling
When working with couples, I utilize the Gottman Method and Family Systems Therapy which focuses on deepening connection and strengthening communication between partners by addressing both individual and relational dynamics. The Gottman Method provides tools for improving communication, managing conflict constructively, and fostering emotional intimacy, emphasizing the importance of building a "culture of appreciation" and responding to each other's bids for connection. Family Systems Therapy, on the other hand, explores how family history, early experiences, and ingrained patterns impact the way partners relate to one another. Together, these approaches encourage each person to take personal responsibility for themselves—focusing on what they can control in the relationship. This creates a safe space where both partners can be authentic, express themselves vulnerably, and feel heard and valued. By fostering empathy, appreciation, and mutual respect, couples can strengthen their emotional bond, improve communication, and work collaboratively toward a healthier, more supportive partnership.
